What2007 is our first year to animate our display. The display includes a 23 foot mega tree, 3 12 foot tress, 50 mini trees, a carrousel, leaping arches, lighted archway, and much much more. It includes over 85,000 lights and 6.75 miles of electrical cord. The maximum electrical draw is 240 Amps the equivalent of 260 100 watt light bulbs. Our extravaganza includes 8 light shows. The program maybe be adjusted to accommodate traffic flow. The display hours are Sunday - Thursday 6:00pm to 10:00 and Friday - Saturday 5:30pm to 11:00. During periods of heavy rain, the display may not run for everyones safety. I want to thank everyone who assisted with the display. Without their assistance, the display would not have happened.HowI am using the software to control the lights to music. I have attended several workshops held by the wonderful people at texaschristmaslights.com. In each gathering, you learn soooo much. In addition, next to $, my limiting factor is electricity, I will need to replace my current electrical service. Houses in our neighborhood can handle up to 300 balance maximum AMPs. I need 280 amps for the Christmas Display, so jokingly I told my family that we will eat by candle light, and not use a single appliance.. Of course that just added fuel to the " Honey, you are crazy statement!"WhyI enjoy seeing smiling faces! God has so blessed me with a wife for over 23 years, 3 children, a very special daughter in law, and 1 grand child. My purpose is 2 fold. First, I want people to enjoy the holidays! What a special time of the year. Next, if one person realizes the true meaning of Christmas, then it is well worth it. Remember the road to heaven is very easy, accept Jesus Christ as your savior, and ask for forgiveness of your sins, it is really that easy. Find a local church and get involved.
